Straight up Hong Kong

Photographer Romain Jacquet-Lagrèze is a French expat who lives in the heart of Kowloon, his base for recording Hong Kong.  These images are from Vertical Horizons (also a book), which he describes as “a contemplative dive into the raw nature of Hong Kong and an expression of its vertical elan.” (Click images for original, larger views)

The artist just captured exactly what I feel whenever I’m in that city that is so dear to me! Look up, feel small in the immense concrete jungle that is Hong Kong!
