Andy Burgess is a pop artist with a twist. He uses vintage advertisements, photographs, and postcards to create geometrical collages of cities – these are the skylines of Milwaukee and Chicago. (Above: There is no Substitute)
Burgess incorporates typeface, text and other elements to suggest early 20th Century movements with an American slant. Born in London and living in Arizona, Burgess travels the world for inspiration.
