Mikhail Gubin’s Splintery Configurations

The works in Russian-born Mikhail Gubin’s recent exhibit “Splintery Configurations” are united by the recycled materials he uses. The New York-based artist finds his city a treasure trove of material — furniture parts, construction material, toys, bike parts and wood.   The widely exhibited American has 30 solo shows and 200 group exhibitions.
