Czech photographer Martin Stranka is one to watch, with more than three dozen international awards and a solid exhibition schedule in the U.S., Japan, Italy, England, France and other countries. His unique eye places many of his works in that narrow space of a few seconds between dreaming and awakening. (Above: Rejected)

These are beautiful and haunting.
So haunting, agreed.
My favorite is I was falling high. I think we’ve all had dreams like this and you wake up from flying somewhere. I know I have.
Those falling moments are quite powerful, as are these shots.
His work is pretty similar to that of Brook Shedan. None the less brilliant work.
Thanks for the reference to Brook Shaden. I didn’t know his work, and I always appreciate introductions to new artists. Appreciated.

This is lovely. It is solid commercial art. I don’t say that to diminish his work but think there is a great deal of this floating around. I’m an admirer of his career and dedication
I take your point, and thanks for making it.
