The works in Russian-born Mikhail Gubin’s recent exhibit “Splintery Configurations” are united by the recycled materials he uses. The New York-based artist finds his city a treasure trove of material — furniture parts, construction material, toys, bike parts and wood. The widely exhibited American has 30 solo shows and 200 group exhibitions. Click on any image or see Gubin’s page on SaatchiOnline for more information on each sculpture.

I especially LOVE the women sculptures. Very “messy” in construction which perfectly mirrors (at least MY) life!
Which I think is exactly why he constructed them that way. Agree!
